About Us

The Learning Lab is a Community Education Center with the Following Mission: 

1. Learning should be fun. We have incentives for students when they show even the smallest growth! 
2. Small group instruction and tutoring supports academic growth and engagement. We keep our class sizes less than 10 students to provide adequate attention and support. 
3. Research based techniques are used to enhance the learning experience. Students will truly receive differentiated instruction in our classes. 
4. Classes are for remediation AND enrichment. Whether your student needs some extra practice or wants to get ahead for the school year, we have you covered!
5. We are a community learning center that continues to seek opportunities for all ages! We have hosted classes on cookie decorating, balloon garland classes, and soon to be added, floral arrangement classes. 

Classes cost MUCH less than a private tutor with more benefits! 

Our tutors are highly educated, credentialed and most have advanced degrees. 

Unlike other centers, The Learning Lab seeks to assist students who need academic support, BUT also provide an academic advantage to students who wish to excel. We provide enrichment classes and tutoring to help support students cognitive and critical thinking skills. We directly engage our students with hands on, project based learning opportunities. In addition, we recognize students' developmental need to receive praise and incentives. Students can earn LAB LOOT to purchase prizes for their efforts.
